Lorena Preciado
Lorena is a GP by training, with a MSc in Experimental Medicine and a PhD in infectious diseases and immunology. Lorena recently moved to Australia from the United Kingdom and joined Sanofi as a Global Clinical Development Strategy Expert in August last year. She has an extensive academic career as a clinical trial lead for phase 1 studies and as a translational immunologist specialised in the identification of correlates of protection against viruses and bacteria. In the last 8 years, working at the University of Oxford, Lorena worked on the design and clinical assessment of vaccines for emerging pathogens, as well as on controlled human challenge models of infection.
